Stock arrives when you post the bill.
There is no GRN or warehouse receiving screen. Raise a PO if you need a purchase commitment, convert it to a bill when the invoice arrives, then post the bill. Tracked products increase on-hand at that point.
How receiving works today.
Bills, not a warehouse app.
Optional PO
Use a purchase order when you need vendor confirmation before the bill.
The bill is the receipt
Posting the bill is what updates inventory for tracked lines.
See the movement
Catalog → Inventory and stock lots show what came in.
The ledger stays the source of truth.
No extra document
You are not maintaining GRNs that never hit the books.
COGS ready
FIFO / WAC lots are created from the bill cost.
Audit
The bill (and linked PO) is the audit trail.
Common questions
Can I receive part of a PO?
Convert to bill and edit quantities on the draft bill. There is no staged GRN against the PO.
Does saving a PO add stock?
No. Stock moves on the bill.
Where do I see what we received?
The bill and Catalog → Inventory / stock movements.
Is this three-way match?
No. Check the bill yourself against the delivery note you keep outside the app if you need that control.
Receive into stock by posting the supplier bill.
Purchases → Bills is the screen. Convert from a PO when you already raised one.
