Sign in with your email over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed. Do not share a login — invite the other person in Users.
Invite
Open Users. Full back-office, or Limited to the modules you tick. Solo two users; Business+ unlimited, no per-seat fee.
Cards
Connect Stripe or PayPal in Settings → Payment Gateways. Card numbers sit with those providers. GoCardless on Business+.
Bank CSV
Export from your bank, then Banking → Smart Bank Import and Reconcile. We do not store a live bank login.
Invite the team and the accountant into the same company.

Users
Own email and password each. Solo two logins. Business, Multi-Company and Practice unlimited, no extra fee per person.
Full or Limited
Full back-office sees Sales, Purchase, Banking, Accountant, Settings and Users. Limited is the modules you tick for that person.
API keys
Issue a live or test key in Settings → API Access. The full key is shown once. Revoke it from the same screen.

How do I control who sees the books?
Invite each person in Users with their own login. Full back-office, or Limited to the modules you tick. Solo is two users. Business and above are unlimited with no per-seat fee. See team and accountant.
Do card numbers sit in SwiftBooks Pro?
Stripe and PayPal hold card numbers. Connect them in Settings → Payment Gateways on every plan. GoCardless is on Business+. Bank lines come from a CSV you export. See online payments.
